Waking up to big news!

I was asked to be on Maria Bartiromo's show on Fox business yesterday for today show to speak about the market, and preview jobs Friday. I prepared by organizing all of my nots on all of the good employment data from this past week both on the ADP private payroll report, as well as continuing claims. When the alarm went off today at 5am everything seem to take a remarkable turn this morning, right after I woke up and looked down at my phone I learned that President Trump and the First Lady had contracted the coronavirus.

This is huge news that the leader of the free world has contracted this virus that has plagued not only the United States but the entire world after originating in China late last year. How this will play out politically is anyone's guess, but the points I made on the show is that there's a over a 99% chance that the President, like most of the population, will recover.

What I also mentioned in the employment report is that close to a third of all people filing for unemployment claims exist in California in New York which I believe are still shut down due to political reasons and that will change in November we got a tremendous amount of good economic news from ISM survey data to consumer comfort and consumer confidence this week so it seems to me that this economy keeps chugging along and that's not going to stop anytime soon.
